Raise your profile on the NIRRA network

Start with your profile, add a photo (this is a new option) and check through the membership profile to ensure that it provides a clear list of your research interests and how you can be contacted.

Adding your publications increases the visibility and accessibility of your research. A listing on the NIRRA site provides easy access to your publications for policy makers and other researchers.

Who should join NIRRA and why

NIRRA has been established to raise the profile and accessibility of the wealth of social research being undertaken across the country on rural and regional Australia. NIRRA membership is open to anyone undertaking research on issues of relevance to rural and regional Australia. NIRRA is a cross-institutional and interdisciplinary network. Even if rural and regional issues only account for part of your research interest, NIRRA provides you with a platform for raising the profile of that research and we encourage you to sign up.

As a member, your contact details will be easily accessible to other researchers, the media and policy makers and your publications will be visible and highly searchable. As a member you will also be able to add your publications to our list, events to our calendar (such as seminars or conferences). We hope to bring together researchers who otherwise may never make contact and facilitate interdisciplinary and cross-institutional research.
